Meet Our President

Alisha Clark, Ph.D.

Welcome to the official website of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Gamma Alpha Psi Zeta Chapter (Kankakee County, Illinois). We are thrilled to have you explore our page and invite you to join us in making a meaningful impact through our upcoming events, as well as learn more about the dedicated women of Gamma Alpha Psi Zeta and our commitment to serving the community.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C., on January 16, 1920. Since then, our members have proudly embraced the values of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood.
The Gamma Alpha Psi Zeta Chapter, chartered on December 15, 2020, by five dynamic women, carries on this legacy with passion, affectionately known as ‘Zetas with Zeal.’
As a community-conscious and action-driven organization, we actively support national initiatives such as Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE), March for Babies (March of Dimes), and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Locally, our members devote countless volunteer hours to initiatives that uplift youth, strengthen charitable causes, and advocate for social and civic reform. We are proud to partner with organizations such as Kankakee County Community Services, Inc. (KCCSI), Harbor House of Kankakee County, and more.
We welcome opportunities to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations committed to driving positive change. If you are interested in supporting our community efforts, please reach out to us at info@zetaswithzeal.org.
For our fellow Zetas, we extend a warm invitation to attend our events and chapter meetings. Together, we can continue to serve and uplift our communities, embodying the spirit of Zeta through purposeful action and engagement.
We look forward to partnering with you in service and action!
In Sisterly Service
Alisha Clark, Ph.D.,
