Welcome to the official website of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated – Gamma Alpha Psi Zeta Chapter, proudly serving Kankakee County, Illinois. Whether you are learning about our chapter for the first time, visiting as a fellow member of our beloved sisterhood, or seeking opportunities to partner in service, we are delighted you are here.

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as Chapter President for a second consecutive term. I am deeply grateful for the confidence and trust my Sorors have placed in me to continue leading Gamma Alpha Psi Zeta as we build upon the strong foundation established by our charter members and pursue an even greater impact within our community.

Since our chapter was chartered on December 15, 2020, by five visionary women, Gamma Alpha Psi Zeta—affectionately known as “Zetas with Zeal”—has remained steadfast in advancing the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood upon which Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded at Howard University on January 16, 1920.

Over the past two years, our chapter has experienced tremendous momentum. Together, we have expanded our community partnerships, increased our volunteer service, strengthened our membership engagement, enhanced our youth initiatives, and elevated the visibility of Zeta Phi Beta throughout Kankakee County. Our members have proudly represented the chapter through countless service projects, educational programs, community outreach initiatives, fundraising events, health awareness activities, and collaborations with local organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for those we serve.

Among our proudest accomplishments has been our continued commitment to Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE) and our support of organizations such as Harbor House of Kankakee County, Kankakee County Community Services, Inc. (KCCSI), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the March of Dimes, and numerous local schools and community initiatives. We have also expanded opportunities for sisterhood, leadership development, and civic engagement while continuing to build a chapter culture grounded in excellence, compassion, and service.

As we look toward the future, we remain committed to creating meaningful partnerships that strengthen our community and empower individuals and families throughout Kankakee County. We welcome opportunities to collaborate with businesses, civic organizations, educational institutions, faith-based organizations, and community leaders who share our passion for making a lasting difference.
